A sustainability claim needs a defined material source and an appropriate application. Recycled content may change consistency, colour and mechanical behaviour; test the specified blend rather than assuming equivalence to virgin resin. Keep traceability and substitution rules in the purchase specification. XLPE, nylon, PP and other specialty routes require their own processing and validation plan. Availability in the industry does not mean every material is suitable or already qualified on Benfan’s production route.
What to send for a useful review
- Resin grade, data sheet and batch traceability
- Target market, intended use and required evidence
- Static load, impact, vibration and mounting
- Test conditions and pass/fail limits
Agree acceptance before tooling
General guidance. Validate resin, geometry and assembly in actual operating conditions. This is not a product certification or production commitment.
Industrial & instrument protective cases
Start with the equipment, then define shell, foam, handles, latches and seals. Test the whole packed system for drop and vibration. A rugged shell alone does not establish an IP rating or transport performance.
